The room was very clean and beds comfortable but furnishings very basic and room remodeling very old and dated. Breakfast bar was sub-par - walk down the street to local coffee shop French Press. It depends on what you are expecting - if hiking the AT and sleeping in a tent then this is fabulous. If more used to the new Holiday Inn by I-64 then this is very basic shelter. "We had an amazing stay at the Residence Inn. Everything was so nice. We used the grill outside to grill steaks. Vickie at the front desk was amazing, she allowed us to have a late check out. All of the staff was so nice and caring. We have found our new favorite hotel for our trips in to visit my wife's family. The room was perfect. My mother in law came to visit. We were able to cook in the little kitchen area. It has a full fridge. We loved the way the room was set up. We wished we could have...
