"The property is a home away from home. The property was clean , well decorated and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. It was very close to great food, grocery stores and light shopping. The management was top tier and was able to accommodate my friends and I in a time of need. I will definitely stay again. Thank you so much!"

The pictures are out of date. The furniture is not as shown and not arranged as shown. The "kids room" has bunk bed, not pictured. Pretty sure only one of the other bedrooms is photographed. Yes, there are chickens outside, penned. This didn't bother us but we would have appreciated a note in the listing that they are there...

"We rented Anna's place for a close to two week stay when my son and daughter-in-law were due to give birth to twins. They live right around the corner, so we were less than a half mile away from them. I wanted to have a place I could bring my other two grandchildren to chill with us or maybe spend a night. First off, the place feels like you are in a ski lodge. Pool table, dartboard, games, several tvs, etc made it warm and cozy and inviting. There are lots of spaces for people to spread...

"Freshly renovated with gleaming appliances and lovely tile in bathrooms. We slept comfortably and enjoyed this home base for our time in Richmond. Convenient to freeways to access any part of town. Would recommend!"

"The interior of this older home is spotless and roomy. The beds were very comfortable, the two bathrooms were up to date, the kitchen had all appliances, The manager was very communicative. We are possibly returning in the summer for a stay here. The town of Powhatan is small and beautiful."
