"We had a fab stay with two families. House is cozy and the kitchen is fully fitted out. Nice walks straight from the front door"

"We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the area and the property. My only two things to flag that I would have changed. Were it was only very near our stay that we were informed we would need to bring our own towels. We felt this should have been highlighted before booking. And we were disappointed that there was no milk to start us off as it is quite a rural area and we arrived later in the evening. "

Kitchen had everything, inc. a cafetière, salt & pepper grinders, dedicated drawer of superbly sharp knives(!) & a resident kitchen spider who earnt her keep by catching a mosquito! The bed is huge - could easily fit 3 people! (Duvet cover is a bit noisy/rustles like taffeta when it moves, so light sleepers with partners prone to nocturnal limb flailing might be kept awake by this. The antique wardrobe was ace - I enjoyed the labelled shelves based on sartorial stylings...

Had a great weekend, only the CV didn't work, but after contacting, host the maintenance man came, gave us back the hot water supply and brought 6 electric heaters, so we were nice and warm again. Bedrooms are large, bathrooms nice and modern! Would definitely come back again!"

"The property was much smaller than expected and we were disappointed by the quality of furnishings and equipment some of which were old (floor coverings and kitchen utensils) and unacceptable in our view. We felt the photographs had been staged and larger groups would have struggled to have had a comfortable experience. The shower was difficult to use and was inaccessible for those who might have any physical issues and particularly so if pregnant or with balance problems. "
