"The great thing about this hotel is it is right in the Casbah neighborhood. It's just such an interesting and historic location, which you are not going to find if you stay in a 4-5 star hotel. The staff is exceptional, and they cannot do enough for you. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. This is not a 4 star property with lots of amenities. "An older property that's well maintained, the El Aurassi has unparalleled views of the harbor and city. Staff are attentive, multi-lingual and food is good. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff stopped by throughout the day to refresh supplies. Shower is an inconvenient setup that allows water to pool on floor. Would definitely stay longer next time."
