"A very lovely hotel close to the train station, only took us 2 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. First impressions were great, food was good in the restaurant, then we got checked in, room was lovely. We stayed in room 207. Although the noise from the fans outside did keep us awake at night.That was with the window closed as well. The room did become quite warm as we could not sleep with the window open because of the noise outside. I wonder if there was any way that these fans...

"This was a charming stay. We loved the house and our room … very pretty and spacious enough with good natural light. Breakfast was very tasty and the owner was quite friendly. He shared many tips of things to see in the area during our short stay and following his tips helped give us a fondness for this town and area of Scotland. We hope to stay there again sometime soon. "Warm welcome awaited us at Hotel combined with a personal walk around hotel and grounds by concierge service. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Food at breakfast was delicious and served individually which meant it was hot. Dinner was fantastic with a varied and interesting menu. Service by staff in both restaurant and bar was great without being intrusive. But the star attraction at breakfast, dinner and drinks in the bar was the view."

"I have stay here about 3-4 times a year. Cottages are lovely, bed was uncomfortable and the sofa was well worn. Overall it was very clean but can do with a little up grade on furniture "
