"This was a charming stay. We loved the house and our room … very pretty and spacious enough with good natural light. Breakfast was very tasty and the owner was quite friendly. "Working over Christmas we booked this break to get away from all the madness. Just us and the dog. Thimblewynd was just perfect and we loved it. Peaceful and comfy throughout we chilled out in front of thr log burner or in the hot tub, the tv wasn't on once! We eat at the Kirkstyle Inn which was lovely but made ourselves breakfast and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. There was not a single thing we could fault and we loved every minute. Thanks to Maggie for hosting us. "
