"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. He quickly removed what appeared to be used towels from the bathroom and replaced them. "Friendly and helpful, and seemed a nice area. Parking was on the road with permit but we arrived mid afternoon so no problem finding space but full early evening. The breakfast was nice in a proper old fashioned guest house sort of way."

"Was a unique experience. No reception. No bar. No Dining Room. No on site parking. Communication was excellent with door code and security keys and mobile number in case of emergencies. The house was very welcoming with a Christmas tree and carols being played and as the house has a "no shoes" policy it would have been more convenient to have a dedicated area for changing footwear rather than the very tiny lobby area. "It is not a place i would recommend to lone females. Its not a hotel so unsure why its on hotels.com. The ffont curtilage is unkempt with weeds growing through blockpave, the rear garden is like a jungle. Not even facilities for a welcome or early morning brew unless you bring your own. Tge walls are paper thin so you gear everything. I was in room 4 which was basic, clean bedding but curtains that allow light tgrough. The overgrown shrubs in the rear garden are at window height for first floor...

"Is clean but not modern. The room is a big but could use some remodeling/rework to make it look more appealing. Good for a short stay if places you are going are around this area. Public transportation access is great though so is fairly easy to get around from this hotel."

"Requested an extra pillow and it was given to me within the hour. Friendly staff. Clean room. Very close to train station and also to promenade. Fantastic location. Would highly recommend. "
