"Food was out of this world, it was buffet for all meals. Some of the restaurants like Jacks and the Italian restaurant was closed. but the bay restaurant made up for it. "

"No luxury but for the price it is a very clean and nice place to stay (especially if you want to hike the volcano)"

"We enjoyed the beach and the hotel grounds; the staff was helpful, patient and friendly. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. You'll love "Polly," the resident parrot. This was a great location from which to explore the entire island over a week. Our only complaint is that our dinner served there was very slow, and when it finally arrived, it was overcooked. "This is a unique small boutique hotel. The taxi I had arranged from the airport to the hotel never showed up even though I had the confirmation in writing. The welcome drink was never delivered to the restaurant for me. My room had water on the bathroom floor when I checked in. I waited over 75 minutes for two tacos to be served. Sounds bad so why did I give it 5 stars?! I gave it five stars because the hotel was actually very quant. It was kept pretty clean for being an older building. The people were lovely and nice. It was a convenient location. The food was very good. It was quiet and relaxing. The view was lovely. Looking at the island I felt like this was a gem and I was happy I selected it. The people knew my name after day one and each time I returned I was warmly welcomed. I would recommend it."
