We could walk to the beach and to a couple really nice spots -- coffee shop with homemade croissant, a Ravens bar (go Ravens!), and an outdoor breakfast/lunch/dinner spot on the beach. Comfortable bed! We appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels -- nice touch! The shower was a little tight for my 6' husband but it was efficient use of space for sure. "

"Had a wonderful stay at TradeWinds Resort. We loved all of the amenities, especially the beach cabanas which we used daily. Resort itself was very clean and staff was very friendly. I was a little disappointed with the condition of our room, toilet was not attached well, was wobbly and leaking. Housekeeping did not come to our room once during our 6 night stay. I had to call for towels as we were only given 2 and ended up running out and needing fresh ones. Almost ran out of toilet paper as...

"This is an older hotel; and offers a full kitchen. The bedding and linens are very basic (Dollar store quality), nothing like a modern hotel. The location is spot on; you can easily walk across the street to the beach. The beach is quieter than the section near the bigger hotels in St. Pete; we enjoyed it. I would recommend this location, just bring your own towels. "
