"Lovely location situated at the top of St Ives … a bit of a trek up the hill from the harbour. Hotel was lovely. Had a lovely room at the back of the hotel over looking tennis courts and gardens. Buffet breakfast very nice. All staff very friendly. Enjoyed the indoor pool . "

"Super location, overlooking the station and Porthminster Beach. Staff were friendly and the bed comfortable. Lots of dining options in St Ives, a short walk away. If you're looking for good value, this is a great option. Breakfast was buffet-style and you could ask for freshly cooked poached or fried eggs if you didn't want them scrambled. "Lovely hotel showing it age but in an elegant way. Food good breakfast was enjoyable and portions good. The location is stunning views to die for. Fantastic staff nothing to much not that we asked for much. The only drawback was the “caravan module toilet / shower room “ now I’m an above average sized person but if I’d been twiggey I would have struggled. "The accomodation was amazing and the private hot tub the best I have been in. Make sure you take EVERYTHING with you if you plan to cook as absolutely nothing there atall, not even salt and pepper. Very disappointed in the fact the Sauna was not working nd we had not benn informed off this and then when we arrived they closed the gym (one of the reasons I booked this place) to paint it....surely this could haave been done earlier in the year before the park got busy? Several people were there...

"The hotel was very chilled and welcoming from the moment you walked in. The bar and Restaurant have lovely views out over the beach which adds to that relaxation. Spa was great; but the only small issue was there wasn’t anywhere to sit down by the pool, hot tub etc, if you just wanted a 10min break from it all, as per other spa’s we have been too; otherwise very enjoyable; would highly recommend; we will definitely be returning. "

"What a beautiful spot! we had a sea view in a lovely room, couldn’t fault it. Meal in the restaurant was really good although one of our party had to wait a while for a desert. Breakfast was excellent, let down a little by one of our party being forgotten, had to find a staff member to rectify the issue - wasn’t because of workload as we witnessed three of the same breakfasts delivered before us. "The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. "Had a fabulous break away with my mum for mother's day. The hotel is a little dated and had creaky floors however, when my mum didn’t sleep well on the 1st night, she got moved to a beautiful top floor sea view double (which she loved). We ate in the bistro on night 1 and the food was very average (and clearly had been left under a heat lamp all evening).
