"This is a great place to stay. We stayed there the night before going to Cumberland island. The people at the desk were kind and helpful. The room was clean and had great character. The bed was comfortable. They had live entertainment on the patio. It was great because they had a good dinner restaurant, served a continental breakfast and we were able to order lunches for the hike! Loved how this hotel had everything. "

"Our family of 15 enjoyed our stay very much. The house was more than big enough for all of us. Had every appliance, dish or pot and pan we needed. The yard backs up to the marsh and the sunrises were beautiful. The yard was so nice we decided to take our family photos there! The house is within walking distance to the historic downtown area. There are restaurants and bars that my kids went to. My son-in-laws found a place to rent golf carts. We used them to drive around the neighborhood to...

"It served it’s purpose. I had to message for our check in information, we had to make one bed up, the sheet/cover was only left folded on top of the bed… only a flat sheet at that, they forgot the fitted sheet. The towels had stains, and the showers hot water only worked half the time(but the sink always had hot water, not sure what was up with that). Otherwise it was a good stay! "

"This was our fourth stay at Merry Mermaid Cottage in the past five years. Every visit has been wonderful. The cottage is perfectly located for an easy walk to the St. Marys waterfront. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, and the cottage is well-appointed and just right for a couple (and their dogs).
