"The property is about 20 minutes walk from the regional airport for the adventurous ones. It’s not a tough walk but it’s not one to do if you’re not understanding what that walk means with suitcases. The staff were A1. The facilities were good. We took the Jammer all day excursion and it was terrific, but good snorkeling is accessible right at the resort. Just be aware that the airport is far away and you will need a taxi. "

"Bel Jou hotel is highly recommended. It’s a very good value all inclusive hotel in St Lucia. Staff are excellent all polite helpful and friendly. Fire show is staggering with 6 foot flames blow in the air! Excursions with hotel pick were good. We did the zip wire ( actually 8 wires) in the rain forest and also the dolphin and whale watching. We saw 3 whales diving and over 40 dophins. Many people there are on there 2nd or 3rd visit."

"This is an amazing property. We did not rent a car and used the driver for airport transportation and for getting around the island for sightseeing. The driver was amazing and reasonably priced. The housekeeper came almost daily to clean, change bedding, and wash towels. She was very kind and helpful. We worked with Lucian Adventures to do many excursions throughout the week and we were very happy with the friendly and accommodating staff. This villa is a dream!"

"Overall I would recommend this property if you are like me and don’t do resorts and all inclusive. The studio apartment worked well for me and had an excellent view. Clean and comfortable with a functional kitchen should you want to dine in. There was a bit of a drive to and from the airport however I was met by a gentleman who I came to appreciate as he was very helpful and looked out for me during my stay. Other than the property being on a busy street, I would give it a 9 out of 10. I will go back again and stay at this property. "

"This condo has all the features you could possibly want: listening to the waves break, watching the cruise ships come in and out, cooling off in the salt water pool, feeling at home while being in a tropical paradise...Alex has lived many years in the US and knows exactly the luxuries we Americans love. He even did a grocery run for us so that we could come straight from the airport. We truly felt pampered. Thanks Alex!"

A Taste Of Island Life

"My family and I travel every other year around the Christmas holiday and this year we chose St. Lucia. We like staying in the midst of every day life and typically rent a home. This original plantation home was just what we were looking for; privacy, comfort and the most beautiful view of Castries and the surrounding area were highlights of our stay. The owner's two dogs greeted us upon our return home each evening, making us feel at home. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen and on the outdoor grill. We sat on the large wrap around porch in the evenings and ate our meals on it as well. We made sure we rented an all wheel drive car to navigate the dirt road to the home and to get around the island on our own. I highly recommend this property if you want to create your own adventure. "
