"What a wonderful hotel. We receievd a warm and friendly welcome. Check in was fast and wfficoent and we got some grway recommendations of places to visit and thinhs to do in the area. We enjoyed the Champagne Bar with tremendous vuews across the nay to Elizabether Castle which we also have from out very comfortable room on the third floor. Everythjng is so walkable here. "Lovely staff. Excellent view. Location good for direct access to a beach and buses. If you want to walk into town the route is not that nice. Hotel was very clean and the October set evening meal was outstanding. "

"Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room. Problem with toilet was remedied immediately. Hotel could do with pool area being smartened up. Sound proofing between rooms not the best. Loud music played a few evenings but was dealt with by staff when contacted. Great location for central St Helier, easy to walk to many areas. On the whole, a great stay in Jersey."

"The pool has literal lumps of black dirt on the tiles, it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. The jacuzzi is the same temperature as the pool and also dirty. No shower facilities after the “swim” Run down hotel, breakfast staff were just there, never said good morning, no interaction from any staff actually. Won’t be staying there again. "

"The hotel is apparently closing soon which is a shame because we loved it. It was a bit quirky and old fashioned but very clean. The staff were superb and very friendly. The bar service and food quality was good. The position was excellent, convenient for the local restaurants and bus station. You can easily reach it by bus from the airport too. We stayed for six nights with friends and we all had a great time."
