"Rooms quiet and very comfy beds. Nice ambiance to a busy restaurant and reception area. Close to Piccadilly train station, taxis, buses and trams. All staff very friendly, efficient and helpful - obviously been well trained. Close to many shops, restaurants and amenities of city. The city has greatly improved over the years and it is lovely to see so many historic buildings with great character being repurposed and alongside great sky scrapers."

"From initial check-in to checking out I would have to say this 3-night stay has been memorably great. Located just 2 miles from the airport, and okay it's a little restricted on public transport options, but otherwise this hotel is perfect for an 'airport hotel' being it's main purpose. My room #346 was comfortable & clean, and fairly quiet overlooking the rear of the building. Facilities within the room were good, with usual the tea & coffee, TV, strong & dimmer lighting plus a fan & ironing equip. Bathroom was super clean, spacious and had an impressive shower. The included breakfast was very good, tasty and included all the choices you'd expect. Now, the staff: I have to mention this is probably the best group of hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. Quite honestly, they were ALL that good, extremely pleasant & efficient. Whether staying here prior to flying out on holiday, for business or a leisurely stay(like mine), it's the perfect start & lasting impression. I must mention a few who were just simply exceptional though. Holly who checked me in and has the most amazing manner & smile. I had a couple of further encounters with her remarkable ways during my stay. Others who stood out were Steven, Fi Fi, Andrea, Lyndsey & housekeeper Maria. Nothing seemed too much trouble for any of them, and you could feel their sincerity. This is my very first experience of staying at a Holiday Inn(Express or otherwise), but will certainly not be my last.👏"

"Enjoyed our stay. Good value, and happy with paying £2 per night for the secure parking per night. Very friendly staff. One small thing. Would you consider putting up signs saying only towels on floor will be changed. My towel was changed after only on use and was hanging up. Thinking a bit about the environment."
