"Staff was very pleasant, but communication was difficult at best. I would recommend future guests to make sure you have WhatsApp or you could feel very isolated. The room was very clean, but not what we expected. Pictures did not seem to be a realistic representation of the property. "

"The apartment was clean and quiet. There was some construction going on at the time (upgrades to other units?), so the patio area was a bit cluttered but accessible. It will be really nice when the pool is installed!! For a week long stay, it would have been nice to have a sofa/loveseat to sit on in the apartment and perhaps a small chest of drawers, instead of having to sit on the bed to watch TV and leave clothes in the suitcase. Appreciated all the info provided and access to the bikes....

"We were looking for the wrong address at first. My fault. We looked for #2 and it was actually #10. Once we found the bakery we were home free! The place was mostly clean except for a dirty hand towel and wash cloth. It was just plain Jane. The mattress on the bed even said “basic”. But it worked fine for a quick overnight."

"We spent 2 night here while doing a cave tubing excusion. The location was easy to find with the help of the taxi at the airport. The unit was as pictured and very clean. It is about a 20-30 min walk to the belize sign and restaurants down near the water, on the way there is a grocery store. "We stayed for a night in Belize City to catch our flight home the next day. We had a lovely stay and dined at their Sarah’s Cafe enjoying the best Belizean dishes after having spent the last 10 days in Placencia and San Ignacio. Their pool was refreshing and quiet. The ferry service is across the street and conveniently located to catch a ride to San Pedro. The Cork Street Whiskey Bar has excellent cocktails, beer and small sharable plates. Will stay again. "

"This resort is amazing. Very sweet cabanas as well as a gorgeous beachside property. If I were to go back to Caye caulker I would choose to stay on the south side rather than the north - however el ben had a complimentary private boat on a pretty frequent schedule going back and forth so it wasn’t too much of a problem that there wasn’t much going on around the resort."

"The staff was amazing, food was good and the units are modern and spacious. The transportation to and from the village was nice as well. Many options if you do not want to stay on the North Caye Caulker. The sargassum was always raked and taken away but it did make it smell and there was so much. Also, the litter on the beach from job site next door was disappointing. "
