"What an exceptionally beautiful hotel, set away in a magnificent rainforest. We had a room right on a cascading creek and the sound of the water was pure magic. There were a family of monkeys on the trees directly in front of our balcony, oblivious to us. So much fun to observe them. "This was our first stop in Sri Lanka for one night only and after a nightmare journey with flight cancellations, the staff very kindly allowed us to check in at 5am, which we greatly appreciated. "we had a lovely time in Galway Heights. We really liked the location in a small rural road close to a hindu temple and small village and in the tea plantations. Breakfast was very nice, and the staff very attentive. The only grievance was the lack of elevator. We would definitely recommend this."

"We stayed at the Villa Tea Fields for one night during our visit to Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean/combortable, bathroom was newly renovated/modern. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. We highly recommend the Villa Tea Fields if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya. "

"The staff was very friendly and the hotel new and clean. The sound proofing is horrendous throughout the entire hotel. Between rooms and to outside. The lobby played music very loud until 10pm and then turned it down only a little bit until 11pm when it stopped. Very sleep disturbing. "

"Stayed for 4 nights on the off chance we would have to curfew following the election date but glad we had the extra time here. The hotel has been closed for renovation but has recent opened 1.5 months and I could not fault it! The rooms are beautifully designed, lots of space, beautiful Mountain View’s (we had one of the sunrise view rooms but I understand they also have sunset views too) and all amenities included. Decor around the accommodation itself are also beautiful. Very well designed and maintained, open areas and an infinity pool with a stunning view. Special thanks to Mr Shamal, Nilantha, India, Anjal and Sadamali who all made our stay feel so welcoming and was probably the best service we have had in Sri Lanka! The food is 10/10, a range of local and Indian dishes we chose and all was delicious. (I even asked for recipes for some of the dishes!) Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone in the area and would love to come back when we visit Sri Lanka again!"
