He provided some of the history of Ophir and made suggestions regarding the best place for a meal, all of which was accurate. "This was a nice motel, rooms were clean and spacious enough for our needs (i.e., mostly sleeping, we were out exploring during the day). Owners are on site and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. An easy drive to Mt. Cook and walking distance to several restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!"
