"Staff and rooms were excellent - only disappointment for me was no alternative pillows- they were feather filled and to soft for me I prefer a firmer one - also a lot of building work going off nearby which isnt anything to do with the pier house but consequently it looks very untidy and denies access to the pier itself ! "My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Pentewan. The accommodation was very well presented and maintained, and was spotlessly clean. Thank you also for the delicious welcome scones. It's located in a lovely setting. A very short walk from Pentewan's little square, with two charming cafes (with more delicious scones!) and a village pub. And it's only a tad further to Pentewan's old quay and onward to the beach! The Eden project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and lots of other villages/towns (Charlestown, Mevagissey etc.), are all within easy reach. "
