"AMAZING! Gorgeous views! Sam and Roy are the friendliest! Feels like a warm air BNB even though it is called a hotel. Beyond lovely. Breakfast is large. You can walk out the door and you’re a block away from the coastal path or 2 blocks from the restaurants. Felt safe even walking solo at night. "

"We absolutely loved our three day stay here. We can't fault it whatsoever. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and more. The beds in both rooms were comfortable and the living space perfect for our family of four. We have stayed in a few apartments in Cornwall over the past decade and this was by far the best. The views were spectacular. See the photos.The walk to Mevagissey harbour, from the path right outside the apartment is a better option than to drive there. The road is very narrow and tight and you will have to pay for parking nearby. The views walking down to the harbour are a bonus. The walk to Portmellon Beach from the apartment was pleasant. It took us 20 minutes but there is a small paid car park on the beach if you want to drive. We walked all the way to Colana Beach where we came across sheep and lambs grazing. Our children loved this as they were so close. We ate at The Fish Grill food truck followed by Ice Cream from The Blue Hut. Both very good and reasonably priced. Crepes at She Sells and breakfast at The Lighthouse Café were both very enjoyable. We got all our pies and pastries from The Cornish Bakery.We will be back."

"The property was great, we had booked a deluxe double room which was on the 2nd floor and had views of the small woodland area. The room was nice sized and very comfortable. We had free access to the Spa, which was alright. Lots of kids in the swimming pool and clear signs on dos and donts for the sauna so people were entering with plastic slippers, walking boots and also bringing plastic water bottles inside - this can definitely improve. Maybe add a separate kids pool area so adults can enjoy the spa and have some clear rules for using sauna. Breakfast was good and the property decor was modern and fresh. The property does NOT have EV chargers so beware. The nearest one at ASDA is very slow and often out of order. For a property this size I would say its worth installing few EV chargers. St Austell lacks good restaurants. Short distance is Charlestown which has some amazing resturants around a beautiful harbour."
