Winter oasis

"This was our 3rd time staying at this gorgeous cabin in the woods. It is just a lovely way to enjoy winter instead of just enduring it! Warm and cozy--the fireplace, a good book, and a cocktail make for a pretty perfect evening, only to be rivaled by coffee on a sunny morning watching the birds right outside the window. The quiet surroundings are glorious. Kitchen is well-equipped. Internet, if you need it, is fast. Bed is comfy, and everything is immaculately clean and well-appointed. We love this place and will definitely be back for a 4th visit!"

"Our room was awesome stayed in the casino Royale room. It had a great tub with lots of room around it. The view from our room was a little snow covered woods. The shower showed signs of age but was clean. The man at the front desk was very nice. The breakfast was good. Not a lot of grab and go options but the hot food was good. the building itself is very unique and interesting has a huge indoor fireplace. The pool and hot tub were a little rough but clean And we still had a great time in both."

Short but t sweet stay for Christmas

"The house was great for our 1 night. Open floor plan worked well for the kids and our lab. House was clean and in good repair, but bathroom could use some updating. Neighborhood was quiet and park and river were across the street. Would be nice for a summer stay also."

"Our 2nd visit to the Depot Chalet and we had the best time. A perfect weekend to spend relaxing in such a warm and cozy home. The hosts were amazingly accommodating and friendly. A perfect location to enjoy history and sightseeing. We are looking forward to planning our next visit!"

Property Owner Saved Our Weekend!

"A few hours after checking into the VRBO on Friday, there was a mechanical issue in the house related to the extreme cold weather which could have ruined our entire weekend; however, the property owner promptly got someone on sight first thing Saturday morning, determined the issue couldn't be fixed immediately, found a property within 1 mile where we could stay for no additional fee, AND gave us a refund. Kelsey went above and beyond to make things right and I so very much appreciate it! She saved our weekend!I would definitely stay here again."

Great house and location

"Great property in the middle of a farm field. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of space. The fist thing the kids said was “this place is amazing!!” The kids room was indeed amazing - very large and a cool hang out for them. With bunk beds plus 3 other large beds. Large 8-person dining table we all fit at for eating and doing activities like cookie decorating, manicures, and painting/arts & crafts. The kitchen had everything. Such a cozy way to spend time playing games and watching movies with my friend and her kids along with my own family. "
