If U are a light sleeper beware busy train line right beneath the Motel,, It is on a bluff, train blows its horn all the way thru Guttenberg, There are lots of crossings without gates. "Love the refurbished look of this home decorated for fall.The kitchen is a dream! They provide every amenity you can possibly think of. The Teflon coating on the pan for boiling was peeling off and unusable. We did find one at Dollar General that we donated. We bought our food at DG and the grocery store which was cheaper than our Sunshine store back home. There are 4 queen beds, so sleeping was comfortable. "We loved our little getaway to the Carriage House!! We were in the area because my wife graduated with her midwifery degree from Southwest Tech in nearby Fennimore. The carriage house was close enough and yet felt like a million miles away from the hustle and bustle. We were able to relax and enjoy our time together being cozy!!"

"We stayed here while participating in a baseball tournament at the Field of Dreams. The house was very clean and comfortable and was a good place for our family to relax between games. Every amenity we needed was there, and more! I had to make a slight change to our reservation before arriving and the host replied immediately. It is a wonderful place for a family to spend time together! We would definitely stay here again!"

The home fit our large family, 9 of us perfectly. We were able to use the kitchen to make our "dishes to pass" found everything we forgot. This truly is a gem!"
