"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "Stayed here for two nights while taking BOSIET course at nearby Petans training centre. Very comfortable room and facilities, good breakfast, quiet and dark in the room. Curry house at the end of the road was very good, pub within walking distance and only 10 minutes from the airport. Would stay again thank you."

"Lovely large room and en-suite. Dog-friendly. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Fabulous breakfast. Difficult to open windows and the rooms are accessible from the back of the pub so you have to go outside if you want to go to the pub which isn’t ideal if it’s cold/rainy. Overall though a fabulous stay. "

"Lovely spacious room. Comfy bed. No one on reception when we got there on Friday Dec 27th but after ringing a phone number and leaving a message we were greeted by the owners son. We were asked if we wanted a meal that night or breakfast in the morning which we didnt need. It would have been nice to visit the bar on Friday pm but we found it closed at 9:45pm when we tried to visit it. Maybe it would be open later a different day or in the summer. A pleasant stay if you want to stay in your room."
