"This place was great. Right at the base of the mountain with easy access to the lift to the restaurant up at the ski slopes. Disappointed hotel stays didn’t come with a discount option on the lift which would have been a nice gesture. Not the cheapest at £60 for a day pass with two adults and two children. Snow was amazing, staff are lovely, rooms are basic but clean, tidy and has the necessities. Great location and great views. Parking is subsidised when you stay which is good. Restaurant isn’t cheap nor is the cafe but both looked nice and had a decent menu. Couple of gift shops and bike place if you want to rent or fix something. Worth a visit but if you’re not a skier then likely only a one nighter type place. Would visit again. "

"We stayed while walking the Great Glen Way. It is another hour’s walk from the route so we were grateful to Simon for picking us up and dropping us off the next morning, for a small fee. Comfortable room. We ate dinner at the Old Station, a short walk away, which was very good. Good breakfast."

"Very good location for seeing the sights of the Highlands Only one very minor suggestion and that is to change the smoke alarm nearest the kitchen, it would trigger even with lightly done toast, no smoke or burning, I'm guessing someone has had an issue with this before as I pushed the button on the detector trying to reset/quiten it but the whole thing fell away from the ceiling, it is held in there with tissue paper wrapped around the screws, not great for safety as it runs on mains power, no big deal and nothing to complain about, typing it here as I had no response to and email I had sent with another question so not sure the email address in the details is monitored"
