"Lovely stay. The cottage was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Vicky was always on hand when needed and communication was great - super quick! Loved coming outside to the chickens and seeing the horses when we arrived. We had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend/return!"

The view from the front of the cottage over the reservoir is gorgeous, and a first floor reading nook is so cosy and gives the feeling of being by the sea side! The property is really tastefully decorated, making it feel like a home from home. The check in process was really smooth and easy to understand. "We spent a cold and wet weekend in the Peak District but, fortunately, the cottage had everything we needed and was lovely and warm after a cold walk.Lots of walks nearby and the walk from Bakewell to Chatsworth and back was lovely, despite the mud. Bakewell tart also a must. Would definitely stay at the cottage again. My only negative point was the difficulty of negotiating a wet and muddy dog with three wet and muddy adults in the small entrance hallway! A minor point when, over all, the...
