"What a gorgeous place to stay if your find yourself in this area of PA! The house was built nearly 200 years ago and is just so very special and beautiful. Lew (I believe that's how he spells it) the owner was so very very attentive. He gave us dinner recommendations and was lovely to deal with. The breakfast we were served was delicious and was enjoyed in such a pretty dining room. I just can't say enough about the history. There was even a newspaper clipping framed in our room telling some history about the bed we got to sleep in (see pic). Wonderful stay and we would 100% stay again. "

"Working at luxury properties for a long time has made me very aware of the ins and outs of small facilities like this. The lake inn was fantastic. Very easy to check in and out, the room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfy, rooms were a little outdated but for the accommodation you’re getting, Well worth the stay and price point. The individual at the office on property was quick, to the point and very polite. 10/10. If ever in the area. This will be where I’ll stay! "
