"Charming old house with high-ceilinged rooms beautifully decorated in the Victorian style. Our room was bright and pretty and overlooked the back yard. Bathroom was large with modern fixtures. Delicious gourmet breakfast at a big table with other guests. It was our privilege to stay in this house, which once belonged to Charles Ringling of Ringling Brothers fame. "

"Buckingham Inn is a lovingly restored arts and crafts style home. The University Suite is spacious and very well equipped. Innkeepers are great and very accommodating. This is so much better than any hotel in the area if you want to connect with the true Madison WI experience, especially for the price. I highly recommend it!"

"This was one of our best B&B experiences or hotels for that matter ever. Our innkeepers, Dave and Trudi were so kind and attentive. Their place is a gem, and meticulously maintained. Huge attention to detail and consideration of their guests. "We found this little 'slice of heaven' just by accident but it will be a place to revisit again and again! The area itself is very beautiful, the colors were beautiful, just a perfect little over night trip! The property was so unique, something for everyone with eight different themes and then the walking trails, what a treasure!!"

"We stayed one night. Apart from a small mishap with the VRBO listing not linking to the hosts’ schedule, which resulted in us having a different room, our stay was perfect. Gracious, responsive, and friendly hosts, adorable baby goats, peaceful country setting, great recommendations re: where to eat and places to hike, delicious breakfast, friendly fellow guests, and comfy bed. No cell reception but that was not a concern for us as we were looking to unplug."
