"We had a fantastic time at Day Hill Country Cottages. We only wish we'd spent more than a night there. The owners were so kind and welcoming, the grounds were to die for, and the room, let's just say it was cleaner than our own house. From the gorgeous garden to the hand made furniture, there wasn't a thing we didn't like about this charming place. We will be back for sure!! "

"The cottage is located in quiet street, the bed was comfy, but the pillow is too soft for us, the kitchen is full of equipment to used and the spa bath was fantastic. and we noticed that they have many similar cottages around the town. some of really looking cute and nice to stay in for next visit."

"Angel has a beautiful little cottage a short walk from the beach, cafes, restaurants and shops. Completely as advertised. Very comfortable and clean as a whistle. She also communicated freely ahead of our arrival, so that check-in was very easy. It's not luxury but it's not advertised as such, and it was perfect for us.Denis & Marion"

"We arrived to find dirty bench tops, dirty wine glasses and plates in the cupboard and a dirty fridge. After 6 hours drive and looking forward to celebrating Christmas tea with family we were disappointed to say the very least."

"This cottage by the sea was ideal for us in all respects except its lack of wifi (internet). But that was a small deficit compared to the beauty of the surroundings, the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage, and the kindness and hospitality of Cally and Matt, the owners and managers of the cottage. "John was very polite and very respectful showed us around the property allowed kids to feed the calf’s. Overall we are very happy with our stay at The stables . Definitely coming back to the property."

"The property was incredibly clean and the staff were very welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. However, one downside which I was unaware of, is their undercover carpark gets booked out and you will need to park your vehicle on the street. On street parking is meter parking from 9am - 5:30pm. Be aware all of Geelong is paid parking. "
