Stunning location, right on the water. Walkable to small grocery, shops and restaurants. They have done minor upgrades throughout. We were very comfortable, check in was easy and everyone was friendly. Has a small kitchenette for light cooking and an outdoor BBQ available to use. You could see signs of the entire town upgrading and improving roads, etc. to grow their tourism. Would stay again!

Location 110m to the bay/ beach /ocean/jetty. Our room had an ocean view from the balcony. Room clean, hot shower, comfortable bed, strong wifi signal. Pleasant stay.

Great location, just by the beachfront in Port Campbell. A short walk to the street with restaurants and stores. Adequate parking provided, but spots are not marked. Would stay again!

Clean, Comfortable, and Family-Friendly The rooms were very clean, cozy, and perfect for a family stay. Fresh sheets and a comfortable setup made it an enjoyable experience, even with kids. The motel room was clean and met my expectations. The girl on Check-in was friendly and efficient. The motel is located in easy walking distance of all facilities At the time of my visit Port Campbell was undergoing renovation that included road replacement so the high street was a bit of a building site. I’m sure it will be lovely when done. Also note that many of the food options are closed on a Tuesday evening.

Not the best, but after a long day driving it was a decent enough clean location to lie down in. The room smelt like fish, which I can only out down to the previous guest, can’t blame the hotel for that though. Super friendly staff.

The room’s door had no weather stripping so the air would flow around and under the door. The people downstairs would smoke and the smoke would rise and come into our room. Overall it was just ok. Nothing special nothing expected.

We arrived around 8 pm. Nobody was in the office. Had to call the number listed on expedia to find out our room number and the key was left under doormat. This could be a trouble for international travelers who only have a data plan without calling capabilities. Room is clean, but the bath room needs repair. The faucet and toilet seat need to be tightened.

This is the perfect spot! It’s conveniently close to town and offers a stunning view of the water. The rooms are fantastic, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s just a short walk to town and plenty of dining options. I would highly recommend the Southern Ocean Motor Inn.
