"We had a great stay and paid a fair value for a beautiful room with lake and volcanos view. It is true the hotel needs some updating, specially in tje exterior pool, garden and painting. Some interior details were already updated and very nice. We loved the reading room, the poems along the walls and the corridors lights."

"No issues checking in after midnight or getting a taxi to the airport early in the morning. Rooms are similar to what you might get at an airport hotel in the states except that the furniture is higher quality and there's a coffee pod machine. Simple continental breakfast provided, roads around the property can be noisy as locals regularly use their horns, fairly steep hill between the hotel and town centre. "It was a friends stay and we have a perfect trip, the hotel have a magnificent view of the lake and volcanos the room was big enough for 6 people with two bathrooms "

"As soon as I arrived was not even greeted as it should be, when I mentioned that I had a booking with Expedia was todl they could mot find it and that they had stopped working with expedia many years ago and that the reservation was invalid."

"Very comfortable, elegant "rustic" large hotel. Excellent breakfasts, comfortable room. Some interpretative advertising in terms of views...Were offered room with view of lake and instead had a view on a very large pine tree which completely obstructed view (would have appreciated heads up and offer to relocate at time of check-in, prior to unpacking) Hotel did offer alternate accommodation when we expressed our disappointment but we had already unpacked and chose in the end not to move. Otherwise, staff very friendly. Property impeccably clean and quiet. Would recommend."
