They make so many accommodations for families including a massive outdoor chest full of every game you could ever want to play as well as a closet inside full of puzzles and games during the evenings or inclement weather. "We made it a girls weekend. We had 3 adults stay, but 4 to 5 could stay comfortably. We liked the history behind it and are into a little ghostly possible haunting adventure. The back deck was our favorite hangout. Its centrally located between St. Gen and Festus. Its a beautiful rurral area, but you aren't more thab 30 minutes from restaurants, etc. The owner was very nice and quick to respond and even left us snacks and homemade wine. We enjoyed the riesling!"

"Overall, this was a great place to stay. The kitchen and living room were well maintained with plenty of seating. The two bedrooms were nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean. Pond was peaceful and nice for fishing. Driveway could use some gravel in spots, but otherwise no issue. Short distance to food, fuel, and shopping if needed."
