"First time staying at a Virgin Hotel. Unusual room layout, walking into the bathroom. Though the room was very comfortable and the amenities and staff at the hotel were excellent. Can’t ask for a better location just around the corner from the Royal Mile. I would highly recommend this hotel and location."

"Great stay at this hotel. The location can’t be beat with the Edinburgh Castle right outside the windows in the front of the building, and the Grassmarket right outside. The hotel staff were lovely and answered all our questions. The room was comfortable and we very much appreciated the fan as there was no air conditioning (probably not normally needed but it was a very sunny day when we were there and the room got a bit toasty!)
