"On arrival we were advised that Unfortunately the hot water system had failed with this information it was our decision to stay. The hotel management and staff could not have been more helpful. The weather played a major factor in our terminating our stay a day early Again the management were very understanding we will return as everyone has left a memorable impression. "

"Good welcome, nice room,lovely pool. Lovely large bed, but sadly very small sheets that didnt even cover the mattress- surely thats basic? Very disappointed at what was very sloppy housekeeping. "

"When booking other hotel stays for 5 of us, we have had to book two separate rooms. Not at Holiday Inn Express Taunton. We had one room for all five of us which was exceptionally sized and we all had plenty of space within the room. It is a budget hotel and the price should reflect expectations, however, we were immensely impressed with our stay, boosted even more so with breakfast being included. We will consider staying again if we are ever in the area again!"

"Perfect stop off on the way to Cornwall. Within walking distance of Clark’s Shopping Village. Fantastic dinner and breakfast and staff were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable but basic and could do with a refresh but I would stay again due to the other positives. "

"Great couple of night stay with friends. Perfect location with free car parking a definite bonus. Clean and comfortable room and good substantial breakfast. Would definitely book again. Booked slot for pool and jacuzzi which was fantastic."

"Just a quick one night break but we had a great time - our room was large with a lovely sea view and a very comfortable bed. A very short walk to the beach for a stunning sunset. There was an issue with the gas supply so the menu was limited but all the food we had for dinner and breakfast was excellent and the cellar bar with log-burner really cosy (Inches cider on draft). Fresh milk in a fridge on the landing was a great idea for making nice tea! The manager Millie was fantastic dealing with the issues and we are already planning to return later in the year when we can sit out on the garden terrace to enjoy the views!"

"On traditionally bleak winters day in south west Dorset this hotel was warm and welcoming, spacious and well presented rooms. Breakfast was well cooked and served promptly. A strong 9/10 because although you should never judge a book by the cover, this hotel lets it self down with it's exterior presentation"
