"I spent a few days which allowed me to spend quality time with my grandson and daughter which was more enjoyable because my fur baby was able to travel with me. Was not able to connect to WiFi however I did not feel that was a big deal as my intention was to enjoy my time with family. I would definitely stay here again"

"Overall, a little more rustic than expected. Location is awesome, lake views and sunsets excellent. Beds comfortable, and kitchen well stocked with all the things you need. Lots of good places nearby to eat and drink. Excellent breweries, and good restaurants. Easy to get to Burlington waterfront, and mountain views at Stowe."

"First of all. We didn’t know the water wasnt potable so we had to grab our own. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds. "A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was comfortable, secluded, peaceful, charming and nice and simple. Totally chilled out and relaxed in the pleasant and beautiful lakeside retreat. Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Grounds were clean. Brought our dog, Zoey and she enjoyed it too. The getaway we needed. Thank you"

"This was our second time at camp pocomoonshine for a girls trip we enjoyed the lake during the day we brought our paddle boards and cruised around the lake and evenings on the enclosed porch watching the sun go down also the record player was a hit and of course the hot tub to end the evening would definitely stay again we may try and make it an annual trip"

"The house is rustic but well-appointed. Very beutiful lake view and easy into to Burlington and over to Plattsburgh. We took the house for our daughters graduation and we wanted a place to host a cookout for her friends. Badmitten and kayaking. Worked out great. Only nit is that you are encouraged not to drink the water out of the tap so bringing bottled water is a part of the deal."
