"The house is even better in person. So many beautiful amenities and we really enjoyed having a small shallow area to swim in. Ducks would often come right up to the dock. Beautiful firepit and grill area. Very accommodating host. We rented a boat and loved having a dock to keep it at overnight. It was a perfect house for a family vacation!"

"We couldn't have had a better time! The house was meticulously clean and so pretty, and absolutely loved the long deck looking out on the water. The fire pit was great fun in the evenings and there was lots of outdoor space for enjoying a good time. The hosts were so warm and friendly and responded quickly to any questions. Loved it!"

"Very nice and clean property with a beautiful view from the deck! The fire pit was lovely in the evening and the host supplied ingredients for making s’mores! The sky was completely clear and we enjoyed star gazing while we enjoyed the fire! The host provided quick responses to questions I asked and provided amazingly detailed information about the property, which was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend the Rye Chalet to others and hope to stay again soon!!! "

"We had a great experience with the host and the house. The house was actually a little bit better than the listing. We thought the lower level room had a regular bed and bunk beds in the same room, but they were in separate areas of the lower level which provided for a bit more privacy. We had older puppies with us for a show being filmed at the Arena and it was perfect for them. The yard is securely fenced and there is no carpet on the main level and lower level of the house, which is nice...

"This place is spotless, gorgeous, cozy and close to everything. We used the grill right outside our front door. Parking was literally 5 feet from the front door. Weather was perfection. "Stayed here with my family over the Columbus Day Holiday weekend for a family reunion. The three units on the property were exactly as described. Everything was exceptional. It was clean, comfortable and carefully taken care of. The checkin and check out processes were simple. Communication with the property manager was easy via text with questions—there was only one. Highly recommend this property for a large gathering. There is plenty of gathering space and also room for a little private time....

Home is very old (civil war era) put is well maintained. Central AC surprised me in a home of this age and it was welcome. Window ACs in bedrooms allowed individual climate control while sleeping. "This was a beautiful house but we were a little taken aback that it wasn’t situated on the grounds the way the photos showed. There is a neighbor right next door. Please read the details of the booking closely because they definitely did not leave extra toilet paper or paper towels. The towels were not great. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Amazing quiet location in the Vermont woods near the Green Mtns. Rik, the owner, is super cool and even made us a fresh loaf of bread! Kitchen was fabulous and the cabin was very comfortable and homey. I highly recommend it for a quiet getaway. Five stars for sure! "
