"The house was below expectations especially for the price paid. No. 1:skiing. The place is listed as "ski in-ski out", which seems grounds for a refund since it is not located above or below a ski slope. Slope isn't far away, but requires a phone call and a ski truck to bring you 300 yards or so to slope. No. 2:fireplace. Fireplace was locked and inoperable because of an insurance issue apparently, but warning sticker on fireplace listed Dec 2nd as the future date for inspections. SO, owners knew there would be no fireplace all season but did not change the listing.No. 3:parking. Our group had 4 couples with 4 cars. We were told there were 2 parking spaces, but there was overflow parking. We learned that overflow was 7 miles away, and phone number provided to us knew nothing about it. The man at guard shack warned us they would tow cars without passes, but since this was a quiet weekend we parked 4 cars without issue, but if this was January or February it would have been an issue. The hot tub was warm but green and smelled like a fish tank; we used the extra chlorine tabs provided. There was a small leak in the basement bathroom ceiling, a maintenance guy came on day 3 and said it was from upstairs toilet most likely. They did take trash on last day which was good. Couch was broken, but didn’t affect us. Beds were comfortable, and no issues streaming cable. We had a fun weekend with friends at the place, but I agree with the previous reviewer, - choose another one."

"Overall great stay for the family and friends. Communication was easy and available as needed. One issue that arose with people in the studio was handled expeditiously by Dave. Great location and layout for kids and adults to have separate areas. Would highly recommend "

"This was our second stay at this fantastic Southface Village condo, and it was just as wonderful as the first! This time, it was just my 13-year-old son and me, and the condo was the perfect place for a father-son ski getaway. The ski-in/ski-out access couldn’t be more convenient, and the modern, well-appointed space makes for an incredibly comfortable stay. It’s clear this has become our favorite place to stay, and we’ll definitely be back again. Kary continues to be an excellent host—responsive, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!"

"Three families spent a week at this beautiful log cabin. Seriosluy, the pictures dont do it justice. The home has plenty of space. The rooms were huge. it had plenty of bathrooms. It was well-appointed and well-maintained. There was a ton of available firewood for our use, which we took advantage of. Radiant heat floors were magical when the temps were below zero. Heather, the host was easy to communicate with and answered any and all questions promptly. We had a lot of snow before and during our stay. She ensured the long, uphill driveway was regularly plowed and sanded. For the skiers, the home is less than 5 minutes drive from the Okemo Clocktower lodge. Also offers quick and convenient access to Ludlow and all its charms. "

"The location of this unit is fantastic - there is a shuttle right from the front door to Sachem trail and back. Unfortunately the positives stop there. Unit was pretty outdated and there was no real effort to make this a comfortable stay for guests. communication with the host was horrible and basically non-existent. The reservation was booked through VRBO, but all info came from Vacasa & required me to get a separate app to be able to get info. Issues were raised at start but never addressed. Many of dishes and floors were visibly dirty and needed to be cleaned. On arrival the unit was freezing and the thermostat was set to 55 on each floor and took quite a while to finally warm up once we turned the heat on - not how we wanted to arrive during a snow storm w/ children. Only after arrival did we see in the Vacasa app (and only the Vacasa app) that the bathtub upstairs was not useable. This was never conveyed at any point before and when I reached out about it I was told via text the bathroom was "not included in my amenities". None the TVs except the living room tv worked and I never got a response when I asked about this. All the bath towels are comically small and the pillows and comforters were all stained and yellowing. Kitchen supplies were fine but missing some obvious stuff (like cookie sheet) and overstuffed with decorative bowls and dishes. Just not practically supplied. We were only given 3 dishwasher pods and one roll of paper towels for a week long stay.. "
