"The Inn was very nice and comfortable. It is dated but not horrible. The staff is friendly and kind. The nice touches are free (full) breakfast and complimentary coffee/iced tea and snacks are available for guests. Parking in lot is free. Convenient. Overall, enjoyed our stay. "

"The check in hostess was fantastic. My room was nice."

"My son and I ran away for a quick mother son trip to Notre Dame. We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very convenient to campus, clean and as described. We were barely home but we did enjoy returning each evening for a soak in the hot tub. Communication with the host was amazing. We would definitely stay here again."

"First time staying at this Doubletree here in South Bend, and all I can say is that it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and actually held a conversation with me while checking me in! He even gave me warm chocolate chip cookies for my family and I! The room was clean and the bed was a dream! The view of the river was the cherry on top. Loved the stay so much I booked an extra night. If we needed something, either from housekeeping or front desk, they made sure our needs were satisfied. If we are ever in the South Bend area again, I will book another stay there. "
