"Hotel under renovations. We stayed in an updated room and it was very nice. Only thing was the sink is outside the bathroom but no big problem. Furniture all new and updated. Good selection at breakfast. Quiet even though it is in a commercial area. Near end of dead end Street so no loud traffic. No noise from the construction going on. Pool area ok fitness center and even a laundry room available. Staff manager was very nice. Comfortable beds. "

"This place is great overall and very clean and comfortable with large room sizes.. The kitchen stools were a little rickety and the stationary bikes didn’t work. The pool was great, the hot tub not hot and sauna didn’t heat up in the time they said it was going to so we couldn’t use. The staff was friendly and helpful. The balcony was a nice perk."

"Best free breakfast i’ve had at any hotel hands down. The place overall was okay, not as nice as pictured but it was still so comfortable, the pool was really nice and like i said the breakfast was actually so great. i will be booking with best western plus again for sure. "

"We didn't stay long, but I always stay here when I'm in Claremont. This is a lovely spot, with a great restaurant and hot tub. The only drawback is the lack of parking close-by (the garage is 2 blocks away and up-hill, and my partner is handicapped) - there is limited parking behind the building, but that requires stairs. They have offered to allow us to park out front in the past, so if you have a wheelchair, you can ask. For this trip, we gave my car to my son and had him pick us up the next day. The rooms are cozy and warm. They are tastefully decorated with soft, quality linens and vintage furniture that "fits" the room. I just love this place. Choose it!"

"Very clean overall. Staff was friendly and responded promptly to our requests. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Must be good sound insulation - didnt hear other guests and even between the bathroom and main part of the room. Re: game room - enjoyed the pool table, but video games didnt seem to be working right. Swimming pool was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was typical hotel fare but fresh and plentiful. Was disappointed that the room didn't have an easy chair ( only a desk chair). Just a note to consider- hotel was at the edge of town, so no easily walkable restaurants. And many restaurants close early, so be aware when planning. No tourist info available in lobby. We would stay there again."
