"Beautiful old buildings and setting in near the fantastic village of Beynac-et-Cazenac. The from was alrge with fantastic views and interior. The bathroom in our room as down the hall, and small but most rooms had internal ensuits.Staff were very frindy and helpful and the continental breakfast was great, with tasty local foods. This place woud suit a relaxed longer stay to enjoy the region. We especially enjoyed the Rouffignac Cave , a 45 min drive away."

"Our room was in amongst renovated farm buildings, rustic on the outside but nice and well appointed inside. There was a pool. It was set in wooded hills a few miles from Sarlat. Peaceful and beautiful. The reception and restaurant were in a seperate building a couple of kilometers away. Access was by a one way system of narrow roads. The setup was unusual but enjoyable. We ate outdoors every evening and the cuisine was great. We would go again if visiting this area."

FYI, parking access is tricky, as steep, skinny, and sharp turns (not good for larger vehicles, be comfy reversing around curve, and try to arrive first time in daylight!), but instructions are clear. "Pam and Glynn run a gorgeous, friendly and relaxing home from home (with more sunshine) close to Domme. It’s a relatively new house with a few guest rooms, a self catering unit in the lower ground ( for 6 people), a lovely terrace for breakfast, several outdoor seating areas (in the sun and shade) for lounging and eating, and a swimming pool that my girls enjoyed swimming & cooling off in. Pam & Glynn are very welcoming, plenty of chat and good tips on what to do and visit in the area - Glynn...

"Excellent communication beforehand. Arranged meal on first night which was excellent. Owners very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The house was so clean, the two bathrooms were a godsend so no hanging about waiting for them to become vacant. Lovely sitting area outside even though it was a bit chilly in the evenings. Local area is full of lovely places to visit."
