"Took wife, daughter and her friend. It was a long way from the nearest autoroute but a lovely drive through France. It took about 7 hours from Caen (will fly to Bergerac next time) The farmhouse was beautiful, clean and spacious. Comfy beds, well-catered kitchen, good WiFi. Nearby (1k walk) Monpazier had everything we needed, 2 x Boulangerie, v important, lots of bars, especially the Bier de la Bastide. Auf englisch könnte man das von Liane sehr gut verwaltete Anwesen der freundlichen Gastgeber wohl am besten mit 'Slow Tourism' umschreiben. Wir kommen gern wieder!"

"Karen’s Le Chouettes is a lovely rural property that was perfect for our family. We stayed in the cottage and we found it so well laid out with plenty of privacy for everyone but many common areas to enjoy each others company. "Stayed for 5 days with our children 12 and 15. House and pool beautiful, immaculate. So peaceful. Everything you need. The only thing I would say is that we didn’t realise from the listing that two of the three bedrooms are outside of the main house on another level down some outside steps, although still attached to the house. This could affect a family if their children were much you her than ours. Great stay and would definitely return."

"Excellent communication beforehand. Arranged meal on first night which was excellent. Owners very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. The house was so clean, the two bathrooms were a godsend so no hanging about waiting for them to become vacant. Lovely sitting area outside even though it was a bit chilly in the evenings. Local area is full of lovely places to visit."
