"2 fishing buddies just looking for a place to stay. This was a very peaceful getaway. The cabin is about half an hour from any town, but thats ok since we were fishing multiple lakes. Why pay big money for just a place to sleep when your going to other lakes!"

"My family and I had such a great time here. The design and personal touches made the place feel so welcoming and comfortable. Three bathrooms for our group of 8 (and a 2 year old) were perfect. The sauna was amazing, the beds were all very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the house itself was so lovely. I would definitely return next time I'm in Ely with a big group. (FYI the basement/bunk room was a little chilly at times and didn't see if there was a thermostat but also...

"A few friends and I rented this property for a weekend of ATV riding. It was perfect. There is tons of space for a group, plenty of seating inside and out to kick back at the end of a long day of riding, and was equipped with everything we needed and then some. "The cabin was recently updated upstairs and was very nice for 4 people. The mattresses were very comfortable and we all slept well. The only air conditioning unit is in the living room, but we left it on and kept the bedroom doors open with a fan so we could stay cool at night. The basement had a nice sauna and shower that we used, however it was very musty smelling and we wouldn’t recommend sleeping down there, even though there are 2 beds down there. "This was a great house for a family vacation in Ely. We loved the outdoor spaces and the ability to bring our two dogs. Kelly made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The location is great for walking around town. The only downside is it's on a somewhat busy street (during the day) but it was quiet at night. "

"Wonderful for families. Our grandchildren (4-11) had a great time on the beach and swimming. They also enjoyed their "movie theater" and set up nightly movies with candy and tickets. The outdoor seating areas were always in use. The home was very clean and organized. The only thing missing were beach towels but we made a trip to town town and bought some. The master suite was perfect and the loft worked well for one family with kids and the bunkhouse for the other. Hope to make it back...

"We had a wonderful week at Sandy’s beautiful home and cabin on Burntside Lake. The location was ideal, on a gorgeous part of Burntside Lake. We were able to swim, fish, and canoe right from the house. Close to the Boundary Waters for day trips. Ely was a short drive for dinner and trips to the wolves and bears. Fantastic vacation!"
