The hosts were very accommodating and I enjoyed conversing with them. They provided me with tips on the area too. There was a nice bakery and a cortina restaurant a few minutes walk away. The pretty garden that surrounded the house was an extra bonus."

"Wir waren mit Freunden für 4 Nächte in dem Häuschen untergebracht und waren alle begeistert. Das Haus ist sehr schön dekoriert, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wenn etwas nicht vorhanden ist kann alles in Locarno (10km bergab) gekauft werden. Ascona ist auch eine sehenswerte Stadt die man unbedingt besuchen muss, wenn man dort ist. Am "Hausberg" gibt es tolle Wanderwege die zu wunderschönen Aussichtsplattformen führen (im Haus gibt es Wander-/Fahrradkarten). Wir wussten einmal...

"We had an amazing extended weekend at this location. The place was great for our family of 6. It might be mentioned in the description, however the only item I was missing was shampoo & conditioner. I thought it would be included but it wasn’t. My kids brought some so it worked out. The views of the lake are beautiful!!"
