"It was a disappointment that the pool was closed when we arrived. This was the attraction for me to book this hotel. The restaurant for dinner was beautiful. Staff attentive and food great. Highly recommend the dinner here. Breakfast we found very underwhelming. No honey left. no yoghurt left, only a few pieces of bread available. Choice of cornflakes or chocolate flakes. "A small hotel with a fabulous and very popular lakeside restaurant. Mainly used by Italians but with a handful of international guests. The staff are very friendly and the food possibly the best Italian we’ve ever enjoyed anywhere. We dined lakeside while watching otters and various birds in the lake very close by. We stayed for one night before driving to Civitavecchia to pick up a cruise (about an hour) and we would love to return one day. "

"A lovely place but more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. They don't offer dinner and from what I could tell you can't order drinks, snacks etc Check in was easy albeit a little brief. Main gripe is there is no Wi-Fi in bedrooms only in the reception area which isn't stated in the hotel description . "We had a wonderful stay with our three teens. The location was excellent for day trips to Rome and for seeing the beautiful hill towns. Grocery and restaurants nearby. The beautiful house, pool and grounds provided us enough space to be together and to also find peace and quiet when we wanted! "Very satisfied with this choice of hotel in Oriveto. We arrived in the evening after 9 PM. No Uber or Taxi service. we contacted the Hotel and they immediately located a driver who whisked up to this lovely property which is 5 minutes to the Square and less than 10 to the Duomo. No hesitation recommending this hotel which is just as it appears in photos and is good value. "

"This was our first time to Orvieto. This property is at the top of a small mountain facing the village. Wonderful view, especially in the morning with the sun at low angle. The room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had many options, and they will cook for you if you wish. We had a car, there was plenty of parking. The owners were at the property while we were there and provided us with lots of information and conversation. Very nice place, but best it is about a 2 mile drive into the village. If your not driving to Orvieto, you may want to consider staying in town. "
