"Great hotel in former palazza. Lovely staff. Recommend. One beware: if coming by train, Google maps will tell you the train is 230 m from the funicular. This is wrong. The 230 m refers to the escalator to a parking area. The hotel is 1.3 kilometres from the top of the funicular which leaves from opposite the railway station. From the funicular, walk up Cavour which is about 10-15 degrees on the left and is the main street. There is then one left turn about 150 m from the hotel. Use your phone. I believe you can also catch a mini bus or a very overpriced taxi from the station but we didn’t sight either."

"This was our first time to Orvieto. This property is at the top of a small mountain facing the village. Wonderful view, especially in the morning with the sun at low angle. The room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had many options, and they will cook for you if you wish. We had a car, there was plenty of parking. The owners were at the property while we were there and provided us with lots of information and conversation. Very nice place, but best it is about a 2 mile drive into the village. If your not driving to Orvieto, you may want to consider staying in town. "

"Super location, just a block from the Duomo. City fun to visit, explore and enjoy. Hotel offered a delicious breakfast, but by breakfast 4, I would have enjoyed a little variation. However, that’s not really important. The room was very comfortable, shower was always hot. There is an elevator if you don’t want the stairs, all the staff are helpful and friendly. We appreciated the dinner recommendations."

"Nice modern rooms with lots of nice features including a nice breakfast basket. Also Hotel is centrally located for nearby historic quarter and Papal palace and duomo. There is parking at the hotel with a cost, but as its inside the ZTL its not easy to get there avoiding the one way streets. Spa was still being built but will be nice when done. "

"We booked Villa Clodia Relais for our September 2024 wedding, and it was truly the most magical weekend of our lives! Leonardo, Letizia and Charlotte were so welcoming and accommodating of my husband, myself and our guests and the venue was the perfect destination for an Italian wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and the ceremony and reception looked so beautiful against the backdrop of the Italian countryside. Villa Clodia is an amazing place to stay if you are in Manziana or visiting Rome. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the facilities throughout the venue are great for hosting special events. We also loved the pool, set on the Villa’s beautiful deck, where us and our guests spent much of the weekend relaxing. We would recommend this Villa to anyone looking to host a special event or is just looking for an amazing getaway in Italy. Thank you Villa Clodia for an amazing wedding weekend! "
