"The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of the old quarter, however Thanh Binh 1 City Hotel has very little to do with an actual hotel apart from the name. A guest house or homestay perhaps would have been more accurate. Simple requests for extra towels, toiletpaper or refill of the minibar either got no action from the staff or had to be repeatedly requested. "Our flight was delayed so we didnt get too hotel till 4am. There was no one around the front desk to help us check in. Walked around the entire place for 25 min to find a worker. Called number on google, phone didnt ring, called number on hotels.com, it rang and someone came. Room had moldy musty smell, no A.C. running as you have to use the key card for electricity, stains on sheets, ants, moths, mosquitos, and geckos running around room."
