"Only a flying visit of 1 night this time, but a very comfortable one. Staff are excellent as always and the fish and chips at the bar was very nice. Managed to use the pool in the morning but got there too late for the Sauna and Steam room this time. My room was small, but perfect for a one night with a double bed and shower/wc room. "

"Old hotel with character. Recent new management, very friendly staff with lovely craft beers on offer. Didn't try the food, but most tables were reserved, so a good sign !"

"Amazing hotel and the staff were great, could not of been more helpful after a last minute booking at 9pm after the original hotel we booked (The Crossways) was totally unacceptable to stay in due to our room being directly above the speakers for a Christmas Party they were hosting. Noise in the room was so loud no one would of been able to sleep and given we had a 6 year old child with us even more shocking they put us in that room. Room was spacious and comfy, location was amazing as we had the Xmas trip booked at Wookey Hole and the breakfast was by far one of the best we have had staying in hotels or even a restaurant. Highly recommended as a place to stay if going to Wookey Hole or just visiting the area. "

"The Reception staff were extremely helpful when I arrived at changing the room for my elderly mother who could not walk up the stairs. Very kind ladies – particularly the head housekeeper whose name I can’t remember – I think she was Polish."
