"The property is well situated at the foothils of St Francis Cathedral. The room was quite cramped for 3 persons. The restaurant on site is great option for dining. Breakfast was also good, bit on a sweeter side, lots of pastry and cakes, limited on salty savory options. I'd recommand this place, well priced. "

"It was an absolutely incredible stay, so much that we didn't want to leave! Everything was superb, from the transfer via private boat to the warm welcome, from the wonderful rooms to the delicious food served at the Villa's restaurant. "Apartmenthotel. We visited the hotel at the end of the season. Most hotels were closed. Probably it will look different in springtime after a refresh. It was not dirty, only small imperfections. "We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Hotel and grounds were impressive. Room was very comfortable. Had a drink outside before dinner. Still taking it all in. Dinner was incredible. "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"

"The location is fantastic! We walked to Assisi in 15 minutes. We had dinner at the hotel and the service was top notch and very pleasant ambiance. I was just thankful they had restaurant on site that I didn’t have to drive or walk elsewhere since we were tired from driving. The room was a bit small but clean and amazing view with a balcony. I didn’t have chance to use the pool and the spa, but I saw many people were at the pool. Lovely staffs! Loved Assisi!"
