"Property was a little tatty from the outside, the inside was adequately furnished, equipped and well cleaned on our arrival. On the downside we did not realised we would be on 3rd. floor, which would not had been a problem had the lift been in working order, which indeed looked as though it had been out of order for several years!! Very unsuitable for people with mobility problems. Ideal and centrally based for shops and restaurants,"

"Bien équipé mais quelques ajustements sont à faire (parasol et étendoir hors d’état, matériel de cuisine à revoir, infos transmises à l’agence pour le bien du propriétaire). Appartement spacieux, très bien placé et très calme avec une vue magnifique sur le courant. Nous avons profité de la terrasse matin et soir (midi au soleil impossible avec la chaleur et sans store ou parasol). Proche de la plage et des commerces, tout se fait à pieds c’est parfait. Je recommande ce bien et nous y reviendrons...

"Very close to the beach but definitely not worth the 100€ per night considering the fact that the water in the shower didn’t drain - we had to wipe up the water with a mop every time afterwards and worse, the hosts even blamed our dog’s hair although it didn’t drain right from the start when our dog hadn’t even entered the shower yet (which we told them)! It was also very difficult to turn the keys of the doors (and again they blamed us to have broken it) and to find a parking lot....

"Perfect size for a family of 3 or 4. Right next to the beach, apartment had everything we needed. Host Sarah was lovely to deal with, also quick to respond especially when we booked last minute. Lots of places to eat in the Mimizan, but the views from the apartment balcony made us cook most of our meals in the apartment. Plenty of space on the beach for social distancing and there are life guards. The apartment made our long drive from the UK worth it, would definitely recommend and book again."

"Venus pour National de pétanque Mimizan. Hôtesse : excellent accueil. Appartement correspond parfaitement à l'annonce. Tres propre. Confortable. "Second time at Les Cottages du Lac. The cottages are great and well equipped, so quiet and nice private garden to have outdoor dining, you can rent a bbq hot plate. The lake beach is a few mins walk with local playground and lots of water sports but the lake was polluted this week so we couldn’t swim in it. Nearest swimming lake nearby is 25mins at Sanguenet - beautiful! The food at the restaurant is very good but we found this year they are not as flexible as they used to be at dinner time....
