This should be made clear on the hotel details as it’s difficult to reverse onto main road. Foyer and bar are really stylish if a little cold with a drain type smell on the way to the lifts. "A lovely budget hotel in a Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome, clean, quiet room. Bathroom small by North American standards but not out of the ordinary in Europe. Close to everything, Fontainebleau Chateau is close, ( to enter the grounds) and the ticket booth about 15 minutes away. Place de la Republique is perhaps a 7 minute walk away, with a lovely market three times a week. Dining options are many, varied and close by, (il Primo Biaccio a great Italian place). "Comfortable and convenient hotel. It looks big but is really quite small. The grounds are in need of a gardener but the oak forest in front of the hotel shield it from a very busy road. There is a Buffalo Grill opposite but there is no pedestrian exit so a little difficult in my opinion. The hotel is very close to Vaux le Vicomte and Fontainebleau if like us you like visiting chateaux."
