"I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. I was very unimpressed by their business ethics and unwillingness to accommodate my situation."

"Very helpful and supportive to change my room into a non-smoking twin-bed room from the other style. Economic room rate and great dinner site (Izakaya). One problem was to reserve a taxi from another town back to the hotel in the evening (This is not the hotel's problem but the area's one)"

"No elevator. The reception is on 2nd floor. The ground floor is with strong cigarette smell. My reservation was for a non-smoking room. However, there was cigarette smell (via A/C?). And, I saw a man (a guest?) smoking in front of the reception desk. The staff was friendly and willing to help. They carried my bag up to my room (on 3rd floor) and down to the ground floor. It could be a good choose for smokers and weight lifters."
