The number listed on the Hotels.com is out of service. We managed to contact one owner by finding a phone number on another website. Not a great check-in system-this needs to be revamped before we can recommend."

She made excellent recommendations for us to see Brugge in a non-touristy way, and was so genuine and sweet to us. As a family with young children, we like a rich breakfast with many options that can keep us going till late lunch. Unfortunately this was not the case. "We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived even though the owners had not realized we had booked. They did their best to get the room ready quickly. They provided us with an evening meal and a complimentary drink. The guesthouse is lovely and very freshly modern. Breakfast was great and had a lovely selection of foods. The room was very warm, however, even with windows open. Noise from the road traffic may put off light sleepers but this is not the fault of the owners."
